Our story
Maison Brodery was born in Versailles, France, from one simple idea: football jerseys deserve to be more than sportswear. Founded by Léandre, the brand transforms authentic jerseys from Nike, Adidas, Puma, and other official manufacturers into one-of-a-kind wearable art through hand embroidery.
What started as a personal project — stitching floral patterns onto a vintage Arsenal shirt — quickly became something bigger. Friends wanted one. Then strangers. Then people from London, Tokyo, and New York started reaching out. The demand proved that football culture and craftsmanship could coexist in the same garment.
The Craft Behind Every Jersey
Each Maison Brodery piece begins with a genuine football jersey sourced through official retail channels. From there, our artisans apply hand-embroidered designs directly onto the fabric — petal by petal, stitch by stitch. No two pieces are identical.
The embroidery process takes between 8 and 15 hours per jersey depending on the complexity of the design. We work with premium threads that are chosen for their durability, color depth, and resistance to washing. Every motif is designed in-house at our Versailles studio before being carefully transferred onto the jersey.
Our signature style blends botanical illustrations — roses, cherry blossoms, wildflowers — with the identity of the club. The result is a jersey that honors both the team and the artistry of traditional embroidery.
Upcycling With Purpose
Maison Brodery operates on an upcycling and customization model. We believe that an authentic jersey should not sit in a drawer collecting dust. Instead, we give it a second life through art.
By purchasing genuine jerseys and adding our own hand-embroidered artwork, we create something entirely new without producing excess textile waste. This approach sits at the intersection of streetwear, football culture, and sustainable fashion. We are not fast fashion. Every piece is made to order, ensuring zero overproduction and minimal environmental impact.
It is important to note that our embroidery work is an independent artistic customization. Maison Brodery is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any football club or equipment manufacturer. We sell a personalized artistic service applied to a textile support.
